Barrier Coating Technology
Techni-Met, Inc. has a new in-line, roll-to-roll Vacuum Barrier Coating
Technology, that can be applied to many different thin flexible substrates.
This technology can produce water and oxygen barrier properties significantly
better than what is available in the industry today on a wide range of
plastic and foil substrates. This allows for thinner and less costly
materials to be used in the barrier markets and eliminates the need for
expensive laminations. The technology delivers high optical clarity as
well as a superior barrier.
